"The choices we make in life define who we are and what we become. MDC explores the various experiences that we sometimes go through in our pursuit of our self-identity. In the end, we live because we choose. And we choose to DANCE."

TUTTING
Wednesday, May 9, 2012 11:29 PM
HEY AWESOME PEOPLE!
After going through the genres, I realized there is still one more dance style and that's TUTTING! Tutting not just incorporates hand movements but there is also finger tutting. Of course it takes some time to get use to the tutting choreo but since its only using your arms, practice tutting wherever you are like when you want to take a break from studying, when you are in the toilet or even while you are on the bus. Maybe not on the bus, you might accidentally smack someone. :(
Here are some tutting videos. Enjoy!

Yes yes! I know that was an advertisement for a samsung phone but that's not the point! Just focus on the tutting!
Also, there are a few famous crews that does tutting. POREOTICS and QUEST CREW. (I love them both!)
In almost every single one of their performance, Poreotics will always include a tutting routine as it is one of their specialties (other than robotics and popping).

You'd be lying if you said you don't know Quest Crew as they were made even more famous through being LMFAO's party rock crew. Quest Crew doesn't do tutting very often but one of their members, Hok, is quite a master of tutting.

A tip about tutting is to ensure your angles are correct, that is to say, if your hand has to bend at a 90 degrees angle, make sure that it can be seen that it is 90 degrees! And also ensure that your hand is always flat, don't bend your fingers, it doesn't look nice. Tutting requires quite a lot of effort and discipline to ensure that it is done correctly so I hope you guys will practice hard! :D
